We don’t just accept any old Tom, Dick or Harry though, because if we did well we wouldn’t BE the Specialized Weapons Squad. we'd just be a collection of players and quite frankly wouldn’t have a server, or any thing else for that matter. Now how about we tell you about a few things and how to join us. The Charter All of our members have to abide by Our Charter it’s one of the fundamental things that puts the people that are allowed to use the sWs » Tag apart from the others. If you get into the clan and break ANY of the rules there, expect repercussions including potentially being kicked out of the clan and banned from our servers. So read it and understand it before you take the next steps. The charter reflects a lot of what we look for in a potential member: • Teamwork, that you communicate with your team well and will act in what’s in the interest of your team and not your personal score. • Sportsmanship, No body likes a sore loser or a boastful winner. • Personality, It takes a certain type of person to make the cut, bad things can happen so crack a joke and get on with it as best you can. • Skill, we can and will provide some training however if your brand new to the types of game we play then it’s properly a good idea to get some experience under your belt first. Minimum Age There is a minimum age restriction of 13 on people entering the clan if your not yet 13 and lie to us to get in, well we will find out in the long term and we will take a dim view. Step 1 Create a Forum account to Do this Click on the forum link near the top of the screen and then click on the Register link on that page. Fill in as much as you can, you will need to activate your account via an e-mail that is sent to you. Step 2 Go to the Recruitment section on our forums and make a post there. We want to know what your screen name is what country you are from, what game types you play, and anything else you want to tell us about your self (male/female) etc. Step 3 One of our recruiters (Most likely Bonzo or Nova) will PM (Private Message) you with a few questions within 24 hours. Once you have answered the questions to our satisfaction you will be PM'd informing you of your acceptance, and your probationary membership will begin. Step 4 Play, interact with the clan and have fun! The probationary membership lasts approximately 4 weeks, in which time the recruiting team, captains, and indeed all members will be observing you. During your probational period, you will be permitted to use the trial tag in your online name, sWs[T]» so that others in the clan will know to keep an eye on you. The Final Step If after reviewing all these things and you are deemed a good guy (or gal) then your membership will be made full. (In the end all this really means is you’ll have more access to the forums and won’t be under such scrutiny.) If you already haven’t done so then you’ll be encouraged to join a squad. |
